Kris Jenner is opening up about welcoming kids in her 40s. The iconic momager, 69, appeared on her daughter Khloé Kardashian's podcast Khloé in Wonder Land and spoke with the Good American co-founder about welcoming her daughters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner at age 40 and 41, respectively. "It was almost whispered about,” Jenner says of having kids later in life. “Like, taboo. Like, ‘She’s 40? And she’s going to have a baby? Is she nuts?’" "And then it was, obviously, safe to have babies at that age, but everybody thought there was also some danger to it," she continues. "Like, ‘What’s going on? How could she have a baby in her 40s? When Kardashian asks her mom what was going through her mind at the time, Jenner admits that she didn't know what to think. "I got pregnant right away and then had a miscarriage. But I also had a miscarriage right before Robert was born, so, at a couple months. Right before I got pregnant with Rob, I had a miscarriage," she explains. "And then I had a miscarriage right before Kendall. So when I got pregnant with Kendall, we were really trying because I thought, ’This isn’t taking me down! I will show my body!’ It’s almost like a challenge to get pregnant," adds Jenner. She continues, saying that at the time, she'd do whatever it took to get pregnant. “I was laser-focused. And if I read something that said, ‘Drink ice tea,’ or ‘Take Pepto Bismol,’ or ‘have three coffees,’ or whatever somebody’s recommendation was, I would do whatever it took to try and get pregnant," Jenner admits. "Like all these little old wives tales and everything." Jenner shares her daughters Kendall, 29, and Kylie, 27, with ex Caitlin Jenner. She is also mom to daughters Khloé, 40, Kourtney Kardashian, 45, and Kim Kardashian, 44, as well as son Rob Kardashian, 37, with ex-husband Robert Kardashian.
