@Source: people.com
Kylie Kelce loves being a mother to her four daughters, but there are a few things she misses about her life before motherhood. On the Thursday, August 14, episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast, the mom of four, 33, candidly shared 10 things that she misses about life before she became a mother to her four daughters: Finnley “Finn” Anne, 4 months, Bennett Llewellyn, 2, Elliotte Ray, 4, and Wyatt Elizabeth, 5. Kylie, who shares her daughters with husband Jason Kelce, acknowledged to listeners that there are so many things that she took for granted before motherhood. "You think to yourself, it's not going to be that different. I just have to take care of this tiny human," she said. "And then it's the little things. These teeny tiny little things that pop up and you're just like, well, damn." With four children under 5 years old, the podcaster definitely has her hands full. Kylie's list of things included everything from sitting down for extended periods of time and wearing both of her AirPods to watching the movies and television shows that she wants to watch and leaving the house with only her phone and keys. Despite wanting to do a few simple things, Kylie reiterated that she loves being a mom, noting that she understands it's "a privilege." "I love being a mom, and I've said this a number of times that I am unbelievably grateful to have my tiny humans. It is a privilege, and I recognize that," she said. Kylie is always candidly sharing tidbits from her motherhood experience. On the Thursday, July 31 episode of her podcast, she shared one of the hardest parts of parenthood: feeding your children. She said that since she became a mother, she has had to refrain from doing a low-effort "girl dinner." "I would say that feeding your children is one of the most underrated, difficult parts of parenting," she said. "It's difficult because before I had children, I could do 'girl dinner.' I could slice off a few slices of cheese. I could eat a handful of Tostitos chips. I could eat an apple with peanut butter, and that could constitute my dinner." "But that's not how the world works anymore, and now we have to eat three meals a day. And the decision-making is overwhelming. I will tell you that," she added. "Also, the need for being prepared. It's just — it's so much. It's so much. It takes up so much of my brain." She was interviewed by Parents for their first-ever Next Gen Awards and shared how she and her former NFL player husband keep themselves grounded amid their fame. "We actually parent our kids. We keep a small circle of people that help us care for or interact with our kids," explained Kylie. "That provides us the opportunity to be in the thick of it and stay surrounded by family." It also helps that the family of four has a sense of humor. During a recent episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast, Kylie shared with guest Mandy Moore, 41, that her daughter Elliotte calls the retired NFL star by a "ridiculous" nickname. "The girls, they will occasionally call Jason Jason or Jay. Ellie has also called Jason big guy," she said. "I want to be abundantly clear. That is not something I call my husband, but she, I believe, heard it on Bluey. I could be wrong, but she heard it somewhere." "She'll be like, 'Come on, big guy. Time to get up, big guy. Let's go in the other room, big guy,' " she continued. "And says it like it's completely normal, which is ridiculous."
