Lakeland reaches fifth straight Passaic County semis - Girls lacrosse recap

Myla Gottschall’s six-goal performance led second-seeded Lakeland to a home victory, getting past seven-seed Pompton Lakes 13-5 in the Passaic County tournament semifinals.
Lakeland (5-6) outscored Pompton Lakes (2-7) in every quarter, securing a semifinal appearance for the fifth straight season.
Gabby Sweeny and Christina Link contributed two goals for Lakeland. Clara Vargas led all players with four ground balls.
Jacklyn Janiec had a team-high two goals for Pompton Lakes.
Lakeland will have another home game in the semifinals, hosting third-seeded Wayne Valley on Thursday.
