Late Late viewers were thrilled to see the return of swimmer Daniel Wiffen to the RTÉ chat show on Friday night.
The Olympic hero, who secured gold and bronze medals at Paris 2024, made no qualms about his goals for the future as he hopes to set three more world records within the next four years.
World champion Daniel hopes to defend his gold medal and hopes his twin brother Nathan can join him in Los Angeles in 2028.

"I want to be a full-time world record holder and that's what my goals are now, going forward," Daniel told host Patrick Kielty.
"I hold one world record already. I want three more and I want them within the next four years, so that's what my goal is.
"On the build to LA we've got three and a half years, it's going to be defend that medal, make my bronze a gold and try and win another gold at least".
The athlete also shared he hopes to break the world record at his next race in April - and is inviting the public to come and cheer him on:
"From 12 - 16 April we've got the Irish Championships, and that'll be my first big meet since the Olympics. I'm aiming to beat the world record there and that's only 5 weeks away."
Looking forward to LA 2028, Daniel hopes he and Nathan claim gold and silver medals.
He added: "We'll both be on the podium...I'd like for us to be joint first but obviously I'm going to win and Nathan's going to come second," he added.
Viewers loved watching Daniel's interview and took to social media to share their thoughts.
"Luv Daniel, proper Irish hero," one fan posted on X.
"Daniel what a Gent and a Champ," added a second.
A third person wrote: "Great champion. So excited to see what the future brings."
While a fourth gushed: "World Class swimmer & an out & out gentleman!"
The Late Late Show airs Friday nights at 9.35pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
