England manager Sarina Wiegman "does not know yet" whether forward Lauren James will be available for Sunday's Euro 2025 final. James was substituted at half-time of England's semi-final victory over Italy on Tuesday with an ankle injury. She was seen applying ice to her ankle while sitting in the dugout for the remainder of the match, which went to extra time before England won 2-1. The 23-year-old has scored two goals in Switzerland to help England reach the final against world champions Spain on Sunday (17:00 BST). "She's still recovering. She's doing things on the pitch and we have two more days so we're going to give her time," said Wiegman. "I don't know yet [if she'll be ready], but that's what we're going to go for - 23 players available for the game on Sunday."
