Lomary Secondary School (LSS) Under-19 rugby league team is looking to next weekend’s elimination round of the South Eastern Zone of the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League competition.
This was despite their 8-6 loss to Lami High School at the Marcellin School ground in Vatuwaqa, Suva, yesterday.
LSS U19 coach Sakiusa Naivalu said it was the players’ decision making that affected their game.
“It’s something we’ll work on, it’s our decision making process,” he told FSSRL Media.
“I’m happy with our performance taking into account what the team has to go through to be here. It’s like waking up early in the morning, all the traveling to Suva and at the same having our lunch as well. These are some of the difficulties we’ve been facing,” he added.
Western Zone:
U17: Ba Pro Dragons 30-6 Yasawa High School.
South Eastern Zone
U15: Naitasiri Secondary 12-4 Lami High, Mahatma Gandhi 40-0 St Vincent
U17: Namosi Secondary 14-6 Dudley High, Marist Storm 24-10 Noco Secondary, Lomaivuna High 8-4 Nabua Secondary
