Jack Keating, Love Island alum from 2022, has confirmed the end of his relationship with midwife Abby Phillips, merely months after they initially made their romance public last year. The reality TV star, 26, said he's back in the dating game but is approaching it with caution and "taking it slow". The couple had revealed their relationship around Halloween in October, and despite going public then, recent checks on Jack's Instagram reveal no images of Abby, aligning with Jack's announcement three weeks ago that he was "newly single". The islander, Ronan Keating's eldest child from his marriage to Yvonne Connolly, reflected on his connection with Abby during an interview with EVOKE at the Boyzone documentary premiere 'No Matter What' in Ireland this January. Jack opened up about how they reconnected once both were unattached. He said: "We kind of knew each other for a long time, I had a girlfriend she had a boyfriend for a while so we kind of just kept up-to-date with each other and then I became single, she became single, I saw her on Hinge on a dating app and I was like right let me slide into those DMs there." Their first encounter as a couple was laid back, with drinks in Dublin. He reminisced: "We just went for drinks in town got to know each other a little bit, hit it off and the rest is history." Just weeks after announcing his single status to Goss.ie, Jack has revealed he's back in the dating game. Speaking at the Gossies 2025 last month, he shared: "I was actually on a date last night – went pretty well. I'm doing the rounds." He continued: "Taking it slow though" and emphasised that he's taking things "very slow". Jack first rose to fame on Love Island's eighth series during the summer of 2022, making an entrance during Casa Amor week but was soon dumped from the villa in Majorca. After his stint on the show, Jack found out he was going to be a dad and introduced his daughter Maya, now two, whom he shares with Keely Iqbal, to his Instagram followers in March 2023. Last month, Jack celebrated Maya turning two with an Instagram post, sharing snaps and expressing how she brings "so much joy and happiness" to her family. In his heartfelt tribute, Jack wrote: "Still can't believe my little princess is 2 today. You bring so much joy and happiness to everyone in your life and I love you so much." Accompanied by a red heart emoji, he concluded with: "Happy Birthday Maya."
