Chris Rock’s star-studded 60th birthday bash doubled as a “family affair” for Madonna, Page Six is told exclusively.
A spy spills that the Queen of Pop, 66, previewed her forthcoming album, “Confessions Part 2” — a follow-up to her Grammy-winning 2005 album, “Confessions on a Dance Floor” — with the help of three of her six children while celebrating the comedian at Crane Club in New York City.
We’re told Madonna’s eldest daughter, 28-year-old Lourdes Leon, sang, while her eldest son, 24-year-old Rocco Ritchie, deejayed.
One of her 12-year-old twin girls Estere Ciccone also created a mix, our insider shares.
We’re told Carlos Leon, Lourdes’ father, dropped in at the end of the night and “seemed to get along well with Madonna,” who is “very proud of his new projects.”
A second source reveals that the evening began with Amy Schumer introducing Beck, who went on to perform some of his well-known tracks.
Our second informant says Dave Chappelle later took the stage “to deliver a poignant and heartfelt tribute to Rock, honoring their longtime friendship and Rock’s enduring impact on the comedy world.”
Our first insider adds that the event was also attended by Cher, 78, and her 38-year-old boyfriend, Alexander “AE” Edwards, who were “were very affectionate” with each other throughout the night.
Jerry Seinfeld, Jessica Seinfeld, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Bill Murray and Gayle King were among the guests as well.
Miles Teller was also present, but we’re told he “remained quiet.” (Notably, the actor and his wife, Keleigh Sperry, lost their home in last month’s Palisades Fire.)
For the most part, however, our first source notes that “everyone was having fun, dancing and drinking” at Rock’s celebrity-packed soirée.
Though it’s unclear whether Madonna’s boyfriend, 28-year-old Akeem Morris, was by her side for the festivities, we’re told the Grammy winner and Schumer “seemed to be especially enjoying each other’s company.”
Partygoer Chevy Chase later took to Instagram to post a series of photos with other attendees, including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler, Steven Spielberg, Martin Short, Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, Jon Lovitz, Bill Burr, Bobby Cannavale, Paul Rudd, Natasha Lyonne, Questlove, Josh Gad and David Spade.
