Point Pleasant Boro senior Mailon Kent shot a 5-over-par 77, one shot better than Mainland’s junior duo of Patrick Hiltner and PJ Foley, to capture individual medalist honors at the Wildcat Invitational at LBI National Golf and Resort in Little Egg Harbor on Monday. The tournament was the first 18-hole stroke-play event on the Garden State’s high school calendar this season.
