Manchester United Women suffered FA Cup final heartbreak on Sunday as they were beaten 3-0 by Chelsea . Marc Skinner's side knew they faced an almighty challenge to be crowned FA Cup winners, coming up against a Chelsea side who recently clinched their sixth successive WSL title. Chelsea were awarded a penalty on the stroke of half-time after some sloppy defending from Celin Bizet saw her step into Erin Cuthbert before the referee pointed to the spot. Sandy Baltimore stepped up and made no mistake. United were very much still in the contest until late on when Catarina Macario headed home Baltimore's free-kick to make it 2-0 with just six minutes of normal time to play. United's misery was compounded in added time when Baltimore turned away from Lisa Naalsund and lashed home to make it 3-0.
