Matthew Lillard, best known for his varied roles in movies such as Scream and Scooby-Doo, will be soon making his MCU debut. Lillard has been cast in the upcoming second season of Daredevil: Born Again, reported Deadline. Production is set to begin next week. The show is headlined by Charlie Cox, who essays Matt Murdock/Daredevil. The details of Lillard's character in Daredevil: Born Again are still under wraps. This secrecy is in line with Marvel's practice of steering clear of spoilers and Lillard's ability to play a diverse range of characters. It is not known yet if he will team up with Daredevil, Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin, or follow a standalone arc. Daredevil: Born Again premieres on Disney+ on March 4. The series will take audiences back to Hell's Kitchen and its residents, including Foggy (Elden Henson) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll). This is a major milestone in Lillard's career as he enters the MCU. Apart from the aforementioned projects, he is also known for She's All That, Summer Catch, and Robot Chicken, among others.
