Lionel Messi's bodyguard explained why he is no longer seen on the touchline of Inter Miami games.
Lionel Messi’s bodyguard, Yassine Chueko, revealed that he was no longer permitted to guard the Argentine on the pitch during Inter Miami games.
The 35-year-old former MMA fighter gained pop culture recognition last season as he was the figure usually seen charging down to prevent pitch invaders from reaching Messi. However, he has not been seen on the touchline this season.

What Chueko said
In a recent interview, Chueko, who heads a team of security operatives hired to protect Messi and his family, per Hola, explained that MLS has banned him from standing on the touchline.
The league are now taking full responsibility for one-pitch security, and according to him, he is only allowed in the dressing room and mixed zone.
"They don't allow me to be on the field anymore," he told Spanish sources, per ESPN. "I was in Europe for seven years, working for Ligue 1 and the Champions League, and only six people invaded the pitch.
"I came to the USA and in just 20 months, 16 people have already done so. There's a huge problem here. I'm not the problem. Let me help Messi."
Meanwhile, Chueko recently fired back at Logan Paul after the American YouTuber and WWE star challenged Messi to a boxing bout. The Prime co-owner responded to Chueko, threatening to beat him up.
