It wasn’t coined as a dual match, but it might as well have been one.
Moorestown Friends met Northern Burlington in the final round of every flight at Monday’s Burlington County Scholastic League Open at Veteran’s Park in Hamilton.
Moorestown Friends left with the championship with winners at each of the positions.
The Foxes dropped just seven total games combined in the finals.
Rafael Rauf won the first singles final, 6-0, 6-2 over Ashus Mahood, second singles Jack Cranmer beat Dylan Stemner, 6-1, 6-1 and third singles Zev Smith downed Edmund Smith, 6-1, 6-0.
At first doubles, Gabe Havey and Zayden Lalani also shut out Aniketh Chadive and Aryan Oza, 6-0, 6-0, while second doubles Matthew Conner and Jason Youssef downed James Murray and Harsha Kannan, 6-1, 6-1.
Cranmer, Youssef, and Harvey won individual titles a year ago as well.
Moorestown Friends won the BCSL regular season title by going 10-2 overall and 6-0 within the league. The Foxes are the No. 2 seed in the South Jersey, Non-Public state tournament.
