New top team in Division 4 headlines Michigan’s Week 2 girls prep soccer rankings

The end of spring break means the heart of Michigan’s girls high school soccer season has arrived, and one team is bringing a lot of momentum into the second half of April.
With last week’s wins over Jackson Lumen Christi and Auburn Hills Oakland Christian, Royal Oak Shrine Catholic has emerged as a Division 4 state title contender, and the Knights were rewarded for the strong play with a boost in the latest rankings from the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association.
