Newcastle have reportedly received a quotation after making an inquiry for Victor Boniface.
Newcastle have reportedly been informed of the amount they need to pay to sign Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window.
The Magpies are said to be preparing for the possible exit of star striker Alexander Isak and have drawn up a list of possible replacements, which includes Boniface. According to Football Insider, they now know how much is required to complete the deal.

Boniface and Newcastle
According to the report, the Nigerian is well-liked by the Newcastle hierarchy; hence, they initiated preliminary contacts for his signature.
The inquiry was said to have revealed that they would need to pay at least £45 million pounds to prise Boniface away from Leverkusen, a figure slightly lesser than the £50 million offer the German champions accepted from Al Nassr for the striker.
The former Union Saint-Gilloise man is not averse to leaving Leverkusen, as seen in the January transfer window when he agreed personal terms to join the Faris Najd. However, Faris Najd opted for Jhon Duran, and Boniface remained at Die Werkself.
Why Newcastle want Boniface
Only months after signing Isak from Real Sociedad for a club record €70 million fee have Newcastle had to guard him closely from prying eyes.
The suitors have not gone away, and last summer, they had to resist interest from the likes of Arsenal. The Swede is seemingly growing from strength to strength at Tyneside, recently leading the club to their first title since the sixties, the EFL Cup.
This has made him all the more desirable for clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal, who are believed to be willing to test Newcastle's resolve and the reported £140 million ask. Newcastle are preparing for the eventuality of his exit, and according to reports, have identified Boniface as a solution.
