Chennai Super Kings spinner Noor Ahmad continued his excellent form in the 2025 Indian Premier League season. After taking a four-fer on his CSK debut against Mumbai Indians at the Chepauk, Noor ended up claiming three wickets versus Royal Challengers Bengaluru in match number 8 at the same venue on Friday. Noor finished with 3/36 from his 4 overs as RCB posted 196/7. Noor broke a 45-run stand between Phil Salt and Virat Kohli. He dismissed Salt in the 5th over. MS Dhoni completed the stumping. Noor then saw Rahul Tripathi drop a catch of Rajat Patidar off the first ball in the 12th over. Kohli was his next victim moments later. Another Patidar catch was dropped off his bowling thereafter. Liam Livingstone's wicket was his next. Noor's 3/36 sees him race to 7 wickets in the IPL 2025 season. He averages 7.71 and his economy rate reads 6.75. In the IPL, the former Gujarat Titans spinner has raced to 31 wickets from 25 matches at 23. He took 16 wickets in IPL 2023 for GT and followed that up with 8 scalps from 10 matches in IPL 2024. As per ESPNcricinfo, Noor now owns 157 wickets in T20 cricket from 134 matches. He averages 21.93 with his economy rate reading 7.14. He has 4 four-fers and a fifer under his belt.
