Hughes sticks with Storm
He’s not playing tonight, but Jahrome Hughes is gonna be a Storm man for the foreseeable future. Here he is earlier in the week.
Half-time - Storm lead by six
The Storm lead 10-4 as teams jog off for some oranges, a drink of water and if they’re lucky, a couple of lollies. On the final play of the first half, the Eels are penalised for taking out Ryan Papenhuyzen as he chased through a kick. Pappy didn’t need much convincing to go ground there. He got a penalty but missed the goal from around 40m out. Storm lead 10-4 after 40 minutes

Harry does it again
What a great play there from Harry Grant to put Tui Kamikamica over untouched from close range. After a good set from Melbourne, Grant was able to skip out from dummy half and size up the Eels defence. Big Tui charged into a gap and Grant did the rest. Sublime ball play from the Storm No.9. Storm lead 10-4 after 35 minutes
Eels showing good signs
If Melbourne had the better of the first 20 minutes, the Eels have had the last 10. Melbourne’s standard hasn’t notably dipped, instead it is Parra who have risen to the task. More good signs for a team heading in the right direction. 4-4 after 32 minutes
