Warren Smith is one of the great rugby league callers. Who can ever forget his call of the Roosters and South Sydney game in 2012 when he yelled, “take me now I’ve seen it all”, when Souths scored twice in the final 90 seconds to triumph. Well, “take me now, I’ve seen it all”, because Smith has popped up in front of the press box, except this time with a long-range camera lense, and not a microphone.
