A town favourite pizza shop will be closing their doors come the end of August. Baby Rae’s Pizza shared on Tuesday morning that the family-run business would be permanently closing, ending their run in downtown Oliver. "We’ve been so blessed to serve our community, meet amazing people, and share countless laughs, stories, and pizzas with you over the years. This little shop has been more than just a business – it’s been a place where memories were made, friendships grew, and the smell of fresh, hand-made dough filled the air," the business shared in their Facebook post. "Unfortunately, the time has come to say goodbye. Our final day is scheduled to be Aug. 30, and until then, we’ll keep doing what we love – making delicious pizza and welcoming you with a smile." Anyone with a Baby Rae’s Pizza gift certificates is asked to use them as soon as possible before the closure. "And in lieu of flowers… please, buy pizza." "From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting us, cheering us on, and letting us be part of your lives. We will miss you all more than words can say."
