@Source: news18.com
The parents participating in the 100-meter race at a school in Jamaica had to face some tough competition when Olympic legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce took to the track to win against other parents.
Fraser-Pryce was taking part in the race organised on Sports Day, Wednesday, at son Zyon’s school. The third-fastest woman in history stepped on the line and ran to win.
She also shared a video from her social media handle and wrote, “They haven’t banned me yet, so I’m at the line.” Notably, this is not the first time she has participated in such an activity.
Even in 2023, she won a similar race during the same event.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has won back-to-back Olympic gold medals in the 100 metres at the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Games. Often referred to as “Pocket Rocket”, the Jamaican speedster added yet another gold to her name as part of Jamaica’s dominant 4x100m relay team at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
