One week after the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, India is gearing up for a major retaliatory response. A crucial meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled today at 11 AM, signaling the seriousness of the government's action plan. This meeting follows Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s earlier briefing with CDS General Anil Chauhan, further indicating swift and strong measures ahead.The Pahalgam attack has triggered a wave of anger and protests across India, with citizens in multiple cities demanding strict action against those responsible. The outrage has even reached international shores, as Indian expatriates held strong protests in Paris, waving the national flag and raising slogans against Pakistan, urging tough global action.Today marks the eighth day since the attack at Pahalgam, a town also known for the famous Ashmuqam Dargah — a site where scenes from the movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan were filmed. ABP News correspondent Chitra Tripathi visited the Ground Zero, where pilgrims climb 275 steps to offer prayers.
