Ramallah, March 31 (QNA) - The Palestinian foreign ministry slammed Monday Israeli occupation's execution of two Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics in Rafah as a war crime that requires international accountability.
A ministry statement renewed the call for serious international action that rises to the level of responsibilities imposed by international law and holds Israeli war criminals and those behind them accountable.
The statement stressed that this crime alongside other mass massacres fall within the framework of the war of genocide, displacement, and annexation against the Palestinian people and expose the ugliness of the daily crimes committed by the occupation forces against Palestinian civilians and humanitarian, UN, medical, and journalistic crews, with the aim of intimidating them and preventing them from providing any assistance to people in the Gaza Strip.
The ministry affirmed that it is following up on these crimes on a daily basis with countries, international courts, and relevant UN organizations to compel the Israeli government to halt the genocide, displacement, and annexation. (QNA)
