When Life Gives You Tangerines, Park Bo Gum's first K-drama since his military discharge, has been garnering praise globally ever since its Netflix release on March 7, 2025. Also starring IU, the slice-of-life romance drama is currently ranked No 2 on Netflix India's Top 10 TV Shows list, while additional episodes will drop every Friday. IU and Park Bo Gum's captivating performances were the heart of When Life Gives You Tangerines, which comes as no surprise given both their acting trajectories. Park Bo Gum, in particular, has honed his craft over the years and headlined hit K-dramas such as Reply 1988 and Love in the Moonlight. After When Life Gives You Tangerines, the Hallyu actor will be starring in an action comedy series which also features a Love Alarm actress and actors from When the Stars Gossip and Squid Game. Park Bo Gum's upcoming K-drama: The When Life Gives You Tangerines actor is starring in an action comedy series with actors from When the Stars Gossip and Squid Game. Know all the details Park Bo Gum is starring in Good Boy, a new JTBC drama. The Hallyu star will be seen in the upcoming K-drama alongside Kim So Hyun of Love Alarm fame, Oh Jung Se of When the Stars Gossip fame, Lee Sang Yi of No Gain No Love fame, Heo Sung Tae of Squid Game fame and Tae Won Suk of Bloodhounds fame. Good Boy is directed by Shim Na Yeon of The Good Bad Mother fame. Good Boy is an action comedy K-drama revolving around a group of Olympic medalists who become police officers after facing financial struggles, short career spans, injuries and other challenges. Known as the "Olympics Avengers", the squad make use of their unique skills which they acquired as athletes to fight violent crime. Park Bo Gum plays Yoo Dongju, a former Olympic gold medalist officer blessed with the might to fight. While he becomes an Olympic hero, Dongju experiences despair which makes him start his life anew as a police officer for the Special Violent Crime Unit through special employment for Olympic athletes. While facing injustice, Dongju rediscovers his instincts as a fighter. Kim So Hyun portrays Ji Hanna, an Olympic gold medalist shooter, nicknamed the 'shooting goddess' for her skills and good looks. However, Hanna has to suddenly retire due to growing misunderstandings about her. Hanna then embarks on achieving her other dream of becoming a police officer like her father. Instead of aiming her gun at targets, Hanna now points them at ruthless villains instead. Good Boy is scheduled to release in the first half of 2025.
