Good Boy is an action comedy K-drama revolving around a group of Olympic medalists who become police officers after facing financial struggles, short career spans, injuries and other challenges. Known as the "Olympics Avengers", the squad make use of their unique skills which they acquired as athletes to fight violent crime. Park Bo Gum plays Yoo Dongju, a former Olympic gold medalist officer blessed with the might to fight. While he becomes an Olympic hero, Dongju experiences despair which makes him start his life anew as a police officer for the Special Violent Crime Unit through special employment for Olympic athletes. While facing injustice, Dongju rediscovers his instincts as a fighter. Kim So Hyun portrays Ji Hanna, an Olympic gold medalist shooter, nicknamed the 'shooting goddess' for her skills and good looks. However, Hanna has to suddenly retire due to growing misunderstandings about her. Hanna then embarks on achieving her other dream of becoming a police officer like her father.
