Peachland gears up for Canada Day with parade, music, and fireworks (Kelowna)

Peachland is pulling out all the stops for its 2025 Canada Day celebrations on Tuesday, July 1, promising a full day of family fun, live music, food, and fireworks. The festivities kick off early with a pancake breakfast hosted by the 50+ Activity Centre from 8 to 11 a.m. at 5672 Beach Avenue. Activities continue throughout the day in Heritage Park and along Beach Avenue, with games, entertainment, and live concerts leading up to a fireworks finale over Okanagan Lake. One of the day’s highlights is the Canada Day Parade, which begins at 4:30 p.m. and runs along Beach Avenue from 13th Street to 1st Street. To accommodate the parade, Beach Avenue will be closed to vehicles between 3:45 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Other attractions include: 1:00 – 4:30 p.m.: Games with the Boys & Girls Club 1:00 – 7:00 p.m.: Bouncy castle and glitter tattoos by Par-T-Perfect 1:30 – 2:15 p.m.: Magic show with Leif David 2:00 p.m.: Hot dogs from the Peachland Lions Club (while supplies last) 2:30 – 4:00 p.m.: T-shirt art at the Gazebo 6:00 p.m.: Mayor’s Welcome, National Anthem, and Cake Cutting 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.: Live music by Papa Thom & The Elderly Brothers 8:00 – 10:00 p.m.: Concert by The Partimers 10:00 p.m.: Fireworks display over Okanagan Lake (weather permitting) Organizers are encouraging visitors to bring a blanket or chair and settle in at Heritage Park to enjoy the concerts and community spirit. The fireworks will be launched from a barge on the lake.
