Phil Mickelson reaches out to Anthony Kim with a kind post following LIV Golf relegation

Earlier this year, LIV made it clear that those finishing in the drop zone would be relegated. The decision came after criticism over players like Bubba Watson and Branden Grace retaining their spots despite poor results.
With LIV pushing for official world ranking points, the league appears ready to take a firmer approach to relegation, and Kim is one of the players affected by that shift.
Only Frederik Kjettrup finished below Kim among players who competed in all events. The California native’s best result was 25th in Dallas, which illustrates his bad form.
Still, Phil Mickelson, a former teammate in the Ryder and Presidents Cups, offered support to the 40-year-old golfer on social media.
“You’ve worked really hard and made so much progress. I know you haven’t had the results you wanted but you have so much to be proud of,” Lefty said via X.
