Prime Video fans are being urged to have their tissues at the ready as a brand new tearjerker film has been released . The brand new film ' The Map That Leads To You ' is now streaming on the platform , dropping yesterday (August 20). It has quickly become a hit with fans who have called it their "new favourite comfort movie." Directed by Lasse Hallström who also helmed the movie Dear John , the film follows Heather who is a young woman setting off on an adventure across Europe with her best friends, before a chance meeting with a mysterious stranger. The film is an adaptation of the popular novel of the same name written by JP Monninger. Now Prime Video's number two film in the UK, a teaser reads: "The film follows Heather, a young woman traveling Europe with friends before starting her perfectly planned life. Monninger." Fans may recognise some familiar faces as leading the cast is KJ Apa, famed for his role as Archie Andrews in Riverdale. Alongside him is Outer Banks and Glass Onion star Madelyn Cline. And viewers have been quick to share their praise for the film, having already taking to Prime Video to watch it. One person wrote on X: "Give me 100 more of this pls."
