Striker Enzo Kana-Biyik has said he is "very happy and proud" to have completed his move to Manchester United . United unveiled the teenager as their latest summer signing on Thursday after arriving from French club Le Havre. He is understood to have signed a long-term contract at Old Trafford . The 18-year-old will spend the upcoming season on loan at Swiss side Lausanne-Sport, who are owned by Ineos. The loan spell has been organised to assist him with his development. Kana-Biyik, as reported by the Manchester Evening News in April, has joined United on a free transfer after his contract at Le Havre expired. He scored nine goals in 18 games for Le Havre's Under-19s team last season. Having officially finalised his switch to M16, the youngster has explained just how delighted he is to have got the deal over the line. He posted on Instagram: "I am very happy and proud to announce the signing of my first professional contract at Manchester United. "Thank you to this historic club for trusting me and I hope that I can leave my mark there. It's a new chapter of my life that is starting, new goals to achieve but the mindset is the same. "A big thank you all the people who contributed to my development, my coaches, my teammates and my family. "May all the glory return to God because without him nothing of everything I could have done would be possible." Described as an "exciting young forward" by United in their statement confirming his arrival at Old Trafford, Kana-Biyik will be determined to make the most of his time in Switzerland and make his mark in a first-team environment for the first time. He made the bench for Le Havre's first-team twice during his time in France, most recently for their 2-1 away win over Lille in February.
