@Source: indiatoday.in
The Karnataka government has withdrawn the CID probe into police involvement in the Rania Rao gold smuggling case. The CID was initially tasked to investigate potential protocol violations at Bengaluru International Airport. Rania Rao, daughter of a DGP rank officer, reportedly had a constable with her who attempted to prevent security checks. The withdrawal of the probe raises questions about potential high-level involvement in the case.
