Reggie's in Rathmines is the new Dublin hotspot - but you'll be lucky to get a table
@Source: evoke.ie
When EVOKE saw former rugby player Rob Kearney and his wife Jess Redden in the venue, we knew Reggie's in Rathmines is the new Dublin hotspot.
The pizzeria, located at 221/223 Rathmines Road Lower, opened its doors to the public in December 2024.
The new kid on the block, Reggie's is competing with the likes of Japanese restaurant Sushida as well as Elephant and Castle.
And because it's frequented by Irish royalty such as rugby players past and present, bookings are like gold dust.
Our sources say that lunchtime at Reggie's is a much quieter affair, so if you're hoping to give this pizzeria a go, that may be the optimum time to do so.

If you find yourself in the area and feeling a bit peckish, the restaurant accommodates walk-ins. It says: 'The entire bar, 2 X ‘2-top’ tables and 2 X ‘4-top’ tables (24 seats total) in the restaurant are permanently reserved for walk-ins only.
'However, we must stress, that these are on a first come first served basis and tend to go quickly. As such, we can never give any assurances as to their availability ahead of time.'
The restaurant offers a range of 12.5" organic sourdough pizzas that vary in price from €12 to €17.50. Patrons can avail of a host of toppings from nduja and pepperoni to Portobello mushrooms, pineapple and ricotta.
For those that aren't in the humour for a full pizza meal, there are options such as cacio e pepe, chicken wings and mozzarella sticks on offer.

The reviews speak for themselves. One happy customer penned: 'Class spot in every way. Great addition to Rathmines,' while the Irish Times called it 'a place where every detail has been carefully thought through'.
