The Rome Diamond League brought with it an exciting array of events. As the top athletes across the globe got down to action at the Stadio Olimpico, fans were treated to some cutthroat competition. One of the most thrilling performances of the day came in the men's 100m sprint. The line-up for the event included Trayvon Bromell, Fred Kerley, Courtney Lindsey, and Ferdinand Omanyala. In a closely fought battle, it was Bromell who emerged victorious, clocking a time of 9.84s to outdo the world lead of 9.86s set by Kenny Bednarek and Abdul-Rasheed Saminu earlier this year.Elsewhere, Beatrice Chebet put on a world-leading display in the women's 5000m race. The Kenyan absolutely dominated the field, clocking a time of 14:03.69 to finish more than 15 seconds ahead of her closest competitor. Her time, which was only two seconds shy of the world record, marks a new meet and national record, as well as a world lead.Another exciting event at the Rome Diamond League was the men's 400m. The race saw an incredibly close battle between Paris Olympics gold-medalist Quincy Hall and South Africa’s Zakithi Nene. In the end, Hall crossed the line in 44.22s, while Nene was right behind him with a 44.23s. Rounding out the top three alongside them was Busang Collen Kebinatshipi.Rome Diamond League 2025: Full resultsAthletes in action at the 2025 Rome Diamond League - Golden Gala Pietro Mennea (Image Source: Getty)Here are the full results from the 2025 Rome Diamond League:Women's Pole VaultSandi Morris (United States) – 4.80 SBRoberta Bruni (Italy) – 4.65Gabriela Leon (United States) – 4.65Marie-Julie Bonnin (France) – 4.50Angelica Moser (Switzerland) – 4.50Tina Šutej (Slovenia) – 4.50Amálie Švábíková (Czech Republic) – 4.50Imogen Ayris (New Zealand) – 4.50Elisa Molinarolo (Italy) – 4.35Women's DiscusValarie Allman (United States) – 69.21 MRYaimé Pérez (Cuba) – 66.63Jorinde van Klinken (Netherlands) – 65.77Sandra Elkasević (Croatia) – 64.91Marike Steinacker (Germany) – 64.78 SBFeng Bin (China) – 64.19 SBKristin Pudenz (Germany) – 64.12Laulauga Tausaga (United States) – 62.68Mélina Robert-Michon (France) – 59.88Daisy Osakue (Italy) – 56.40Women’s Triple JumpShanieka Ricketts (Jamaica) – 14.64Leyanis Pérez Hernández (Cuba) – 14.46Thea Lafond (Dominica) – 14.30Liadagmis Povea (Cuba) – 14.17Jasmine Moore (United States) – 14.15Neja Filipič (Slovenia) – 13.84Diana Ana Maria Ion (Romania) – 13.76Ilionis Guillaume (France) – 13.59Ana Peleteiro-Compaoré (Spain) – 13.04Men’s High JumpSanghyeok Woo (South Korea) – 2.32Oleh Doroshchuk (Ukraine) – 2.30Romaine Beckford (Jamaica) – 2.26JuVaughn Harrison (United States) – 2.26Matteo Sioli (Italy) – 2.23Hamish Kerr (New Zealand) – 2.20Manuel Lando (Italy) – 2.20Jan Štefela (Czech Republic) – 2.20Stefano Sottile (Italy) – 2.20Gianmarco Tamberi (Italy) – 2.16Raymond Richards (Jamaica) – 2.12Women’s 400m HurdlesAndrenette Knight (Jamaica) – 53.67Ayomide Folorunso (Italy) – 54.21Rushell Clayton (Jamaica) – 54.31Lina Nielsen (Great Britain) – 54.66Louise Maraval (France) – 54.86Zenéy van der Walt (South Africa) – 55.29Shiann Salmon (Jamaica) – 55.47Linda Olivieri (Italy) – 56.06Cassandra Tate (United States) – 56.15Men’s 1,500mAzeddine Habz (France) – 3:29.72Timothy Cheruiyot (Kenya) – 3:29.75Anass Essayi (Morocco) – 3:30.74Robert Farken (Germany) – 3:30.80Samuel Pihlström (Sweden) – 3:30.87Reynold Cheruiyot (Kenya) – 3:30.94Elliot Giles (Great Britain) – 3:31.13Brian Komen (Kenya) – 3:31.14Oliver Hoare (Australia) – 3:31.15Federico Riva (Italy) – 3:31.42Men’s Shot PutTom Walsh (New Zealand) – 21.89 SBZane Weir (Italy) – 21.67Rajindra Campbell (Jamaica) – 21.64Joe Kovacs (United States) – 21.59 SBAdrian Piperi (United States) – 21.58 SBPayton Otterdahl (United States) – 21.56Leonardo Fabbri (Italy) – 21.35Chukwuebuka Enekwechi (Nigeria) – 21.31Andrei Rares Toader (Romania) – 20.67Roger Steen (United States) – 20.30Women’s 5,000mBeatrice Chebet (Kenya) – 14:03.69Freweyni Hailu (Ethiopia) – 14:19.33Nadia Battocletti (Italy) – 14:23.15Birke Haylom (Ethiopia) – 14:24.20Gudaf Tsegay (Ethiopia) – 14:24.86Josette Andrews (United States) – 14:25.37Chaltu Dida (Ethiopia) – 14:27.11 PBAleshign Baweke (Ethiopia) – 14:27.33Asayech Ayichew (Ethiopia) – 14:38.78Shelby Houlihan (United States) – 14:45.29Men's 400mQuincy Hall (United States) – 44.22Zakithi Nene (South Africa) – 44.23Busang Collen Kebinatshipi (Botswana) – 44.51Charles Dobson (Great Britain) – 44.64Vernon Norwood (United States) – 44.86Kirani James (Grenada) – 44.92Alexander Doom (Belgium) – 45.60Edoardo Scotti (Italy) – 45.68Attila Molnár (Hungary) – DNSWomen’s 200mAnavia Battle (United States) – 22.53Amy Hunt (Great Britain) – 22.67Marie-Josée Ta Lou-Smith (Côte d'Ivoire) – 22.75McKenzie Long (United States) – 22.81Maia McCoy (United States) – 22.91Jessika Gbai (Côte d'Ivoire) – 22.95Dalia Kaddari (Italy) – 23.12Paula Sevilla (Spain) – 23.12Maboundou Koné (Côte d'Ivoire) – 23.30Men’s 110m HurdlesJason Joseph (Switzerland) – 13.14Cordell Tinch (United States) – 13.14Dylan Beard (United States) – 13.28Orlando Bennett (Jamaica) – 13.29Daniel Roberts (United States) – 13.40Wilhem Belocian (France) – 13.44Erwann Cinna (France) – 13.56Omar McLeod (Jamaica) – 13.58Asier Martínez (Spain) – 13.68Men’s 100mTrayvon Bromell (United States) – 9.84Emmanuel Eseme (Cameroon) – 9.99Ferdinand Omanyala (Kenya) – 10.01Brandon Hicklin (United States) – 10.04Fred Kerley (United States) – 10.06Courtney Lindsey (United States) – 10.18Filippo Tortu (Italy) – 10.19Abdul Hakim Sani Brown (Japan) – 10.31 SBChituru Ali (Italy) – 11.21Women's 1,500mSarah Healy (Ireland) – 3:59.17Sarah Billings (Australia) – 3:59.24Abbey Caldwell (Australia) – 3:59.32Heather Maclean (United States) – 3:59.71Susan Lokayo Ejore (Kenya) – 3:59.73 SBAgueda Marques (Spain) – 4:00.57Agathe Guillemot (France) – 4:01.49 SBMarta Zenoni (Italy) – 4:01.52Weronike Lizakowska (Poland) – 4:01.70 SBSaron Berhe (Ethiopia) – 4:01.78
