Texas Department of Transportation officials today announced that safety lighting work will be underway beginning Feb. 17 in a number of counties across the region. The contract was awarded to WG Engineering & Construction, LLC at a cost of $1,195,344.00 with a total of 151 working days. The contractor plans to begin installation of safety lighting on US 82 in Fannin County and will move to various locations as the work progresses.
