Tyrell Malacia could swap Manchester United for Saudi Arabia this summer
Last season made a mockery of expectations for Manchester United supporters. The club finished 15th in the Premier League, lost the Europa League final to Tottenham, and will not play in any European competition until the 2025/26 season. Ruben Amorim took over mid-season, but it was too late. Change was needed, and the club have made rapid strides at the start of this summer. Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo were two big-name signings, and young Diogo Leon also joined the squad.
While new faces are heading to Old Trafford this summer, some old players are slowly finding their way out. Marcus Rashford has already moved to Barcelona, and the future of the rest of the players are now in limbo. Amorim has left out five players from his plans—Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Tyrell Malacia and Garnacho, of which Rashford is already gone. Malacia is now the most recent player reported.
Tyrell Malacia gets an offer from Saudi Arabia
According to a report by Voetbal International, via Sport Witness, Malacia has received a concrete offer from a club in Saudi Arabia. The report did not specify which club, but the deal for the Dutch defender would be around €7 million. Several clubs in Europe have also asked about his situation, but the most concrete offer so far has come from Saudi Arabia. Malacia is in talks, and if he agrees, the deal will be finalised.
