Scotland host Ireland in round two of the Six Nations this afternoon. Ireland defeated England in Dublin on the opening weekend thanks to tries from Jamison Gibson-Park, Bundee Aki, Tadhg Beirne and Dan Sheehan. Scotland are coming off the back of an opening-round victory against Italy, beating the Azzurri 31-19 at Murrayfield. The Scots are at home again for this tie, so it'll be a tough test for Ireland. Simon Easterby's men are hoping to achieve a record third successive championship win this year, and will need to be on their A-game for this crunch clash in Edinburgh. I think with Rory (Sutherland), he's been competing very hard with Pierre (Schoeman) for that starting role. He's been in great form this year and is in brilliant physical shape, so he gets the opportunity to start. "With Jack (Dempsey), it was just a case of getting him more minutes. He would've liked to have played more but he's trained really well and is looking confident. He made a really good impact [vs Italy] like Tom (Jordan) did. I really thought Tom called for the ball a lot, he was very active and aggressive in defence. It was just a real follow up from what he'd done so well for us in November." Ireland interim head coach Simon Easterby on the decision not to start Jack Crowley: "He was disappointed and so were a lot of other players that didn’t make either the starting XV or the bench. "Keeping some continuity within selection was important, I do agree that Jack was good last weekend coming off the bench, the game had opened up a little bit and that was partly due to the way he played, playing the game in different areas of the pitch etc. "He did add real quality when he came off the bench as did a lot of the other guys. We saw how important the start is but we also saw last weekend how important finishing the game is."
