Siano Soccer Club of Ga West has emerged winners of the 2024/25 GARFA Districts KGL Inter-Clubs Colts Championship after a commanding 2-0 victory over All Nice FC in the grand finale at the Teshie McDan Complex.
The highly competitive tournament, organised by the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) and sponsored by KGL, brought together twelve District Colts Champions from across the region. It kicked off on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at four designated centres, with the goal of showcasing the finest grassroots football talent in the capital.
Following an intense group stage, four teams booked their place in the semi-finals: Barca Kids (Accra West), Siano SC (Ga West), Munnik FC (Ga East) and All Nice FC. All Nice FC edged past Munnik FC on penalties after a tense stalemate in the first semi-final, while Siano SC delivered a dominant 3-0 performance against Barca Kids in the second.
The final lived up to expectations, with both sides displaying skill, determination and tactical discipline. Siano SC, however, proved the stronger side, securing a deserved 2-0 win to claim the prestigious title.
As champions, Siano SC were presented with a giant trophy, a full set of jerseys and a cash prize of GHS 10,000 from GARFA. Star player Norbert Mensah was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player, capping an outstanding campaign with individual brilliance.
The 2024/25 GARFA KGL Inter-Clubs Championship will be remembered for its exciting football, competitive spirit, and its role in nurturing the next generation of football stars in the Greater Accra Region.
