The Stormers have kept their hopes of a United Rugby Championship quarter-final berth alive. The Cape Town outfit defeated Irish side Connacht 34-29 at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday night.
Both teams ran in five tries each, with Stormers fly-half Sasha Feinburg-Mngomesulu scoring a hat-trick.

Earlier, the Lions suffered a disappointing 31-42 loss to Italian club Benetton Rugby at Ellis Park, dashing their hopes of a berth in the playoffs.
Benetton ran in five tries to seal a bonus point victory, with fly-half Jacob Umaga contributing 22 points. The homeside scored four tries, also picking up a bonus point.
