Three-time Olympic gold medallist Summer McIntosh has confirmed her participation in the entire 2025 World Aquatics Swimming World Cup circuit, joining eight other top-tier swimmers for the full series. Fresh off a stellar performance at the Singapore 2025 World Aquatics Championships, where she secured four golds and a bronze, the Canadian sensation is ready to dive into the three-leg World Cup this October. The series kicks off in Carmel, Indiana, before moving to Westmont, Illinois, and wrapping up in Toronto, giving McIntosh a chance to race on home turf in front of Canadian fans. Joining her is Kate Douglass, a five-time Olympic medalist who dominated Paris 2024 and also bagged five medals in Singapore, including three golds. Fellow American Regan Smith is also set to compete, going head-to-head with Australian rivals Kaylee McKeown and Mollie O’Callaghan, both Olympic heavyweights. The men’s lineup features four elite swimmers: Joshua Liendo of Canada, Thomas Ceccon of Italy, Hubert Kos of Hungary, and Noè Ponti from Switzerland—all eager to expand their medal haul on the World Cup stage. The 2025 World Cup spans three weekends: October 10–12 in Carmel, October 17–19 in Westmont, and October 23–25 in Toronto. This elite group promises thrilling showdowns across North America, building momentum toward future championships.
