THE Sables will face familiar foes Namibia for a place at the Rugby World Cup after a storming second half show powered the Zimbabweans past Kenya in the semi-finals in Uganda yesterday.
The Sables were tested and found themselves trailing 13-18 at the break.
But, with their World Cup hopes in the balance, they fought back like true Warriors and scored 16 points in the second half to secure a ticket for a winner-take-all showdown against Namibia.
The victory brings Zimbabwe one game away from the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia.
When the two sides met in a similar match, in the same tournament, last year, Zimbabwe beat the Namibians to be crowned champions.
But, this is a different challenge, especially with a place at the Rugby World Cup on the line.
The Namibians breezed past Algeria with a 21-7 win to set up a mouth-watering showdown.
The Sables know that their dream for a return to the Rugby World Cup is very close to being realised.
They know that the opponents would be stronger than the Kenyans they faced yesterday.
But, they also know that they have the capacity to beat the Namibians and all that they need is to BELIEVE.
They have the character, they showed it yesterday.
