Teachers Rugby Football Club [TRFC] members raised funds for the Women’s Resource Centre [WRC] by running the Bermuda Half-Marathon Derby on Friday [May 23].
TRFC have raised more than $115,000 for local charities over the years.
To take part in the TRFC fundraising effort, participants had to either run the full race, join a relay team, or jog the final two miles with the team.
“Shoutout to all our amazing TRFC runners who hit the streets today – not just for the race, but for a great cause!” read a post on the TRFC social media.
“This year, we ran in support of the Women’s Resource Centre, helping to uplift and empower women in our community.”
