'Technically the best batter': Former India star compares GT star with Sunil Gavaskar

Former India opener Navjot Singh Sidhu has lauded Gujarat Titans star batter Sai Sudharsan for his brilliant batting in the ongoing IPL 2025. Sidhu event went to the extent of comparing Sudharsan with great Sunil Gavaskar.

Prolific Batter
Notably playing for Gujarat Titans 23-year-old Sudharsan has scored 74 63 and 49 against Punjab Kings Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru respectively. He is one of the most consistent performers in the tournament.
According to Sidhu after Virat Kohli Sudharsan has the talent and skill set to play for India in shorter formats and the most extended version of cricket.
However the former India opener lamented over the fact that Sudharsan hasnrsquot got enough chances and has played just three ODIs and one T20I for Team India.
However the southpaw is once again amongst the leading run-scorers in the Indian Premier League.
Many youngsters have been included in the Indian team by performing consistently in the Indian Premier League. According to several electors Sudharsan will once again attract the attention of the Team India selectors with his consistence performance in IPL again.
