Two teenagers have been charged over an alleged hit and run involving a stolen car on the Gold Coast overnight. Authorities claim that the teenagers were involved in an incident where a stolen white Mercedes GLC collided with a tow truck at a service station on Signato Drive in Helensvale around 8 p.m. They reportedly left the area without stopping. The tow truck driver became pinned between the two vehicles in the car. The two teenagers allegedly stole a white Mercedes and crashed into a tow truck. (9News) He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with leg injuries. The stolen Mercedes was found around 40 minutes later parked on Ken Crescent with two teenagers inside, police said. Two boys, both aged 17, were taken into custody. One of the 17-year-olds was charged with multiple offences including unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and assault. Two boys, both aged 17, were taken into custody.
