Ravi Teja Father Death: Veteran Telugu actor Ravi Teja is grieving the loss of his father, Bhupathi Rajagopal Raju, who passed away at the age of 90. He died at Ravi’s home in Hyderabad due to age-related health issues, according to media sources.
The news has deeply affected Tollywood, coming shortly after veteran actor Kota Srinivasa Rao’s death. The industry is once again in mourning, with fans and colleagues offering condolences to Ravi Teja and his family.
Bhupathi Rajagopal Raju, who originally hailed from Jaggampeta in Andhra Pradesh, was known for his humble profession as a pharmacist. He lived a modest life and was a beloved figure to his family.
He is survived by his wife, Rajya Lakshmi, and two sons — Ravi Teja and Raghu Raju. The family had already endured heartbreak when their son Bharath Raju tragically died in a car accident in Hyderabad a few years ago.

Ravi Teja Upcoming Movies
Ravi Teja is currently gearing up for the release of his next action entertainer, Mass Jathara, scheduled to release in August 2025. Directed by debutant Bhanu Bhogavarapu, the film also features Sreeleela and Nitish Nirmal in the lead. As fans await to see the film, the south star has now announced his new project, tentatively titled RT76.
The upcoming project marks the actor’s collaboration with the production house SLV Cinemas, who are also the makers of The Paradise, featuring Nani.
FYI: Mass Jathara was earlier scheduled to be released in May 2025 but was later postponed to July 2025. However, to avoid a clash with Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara, the makers decided to push back the release date to August 2025.
