The Players 2025: How to Watch, Tee Times, Streaming, and More

It is the Players Championship week for the PGA Tour. A stout field of the world's best players will compete at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Florida for the biggest prize in professional golf.The overall purse is $25 million and the winner will get a hefty $4.5 million check and 750 FedEx Cup points.Dubbed the unofficial fifth major championship, most of the best players in the world are in the field.There are 48 of the top 50 OWGR players in the 144-man field. The only two players in that ranking who are not playing are No. 12 Tyrrell Hatton and No. 16 Bryson DeChambeau. They both play for LIV Golf and are not eligible for this tournament.Scottie Scheffler looks to become the first player to win three Players Championships in a row.He won last year after he came from five shots back to defeat Wyndham Clark, Xander Schauffele and Brian Harman. Scheffler could become just the second player alongside Jack Nicklaus to win The Players three times.The former Texas Longhorn may be the focus, but he will have plenty of guys there to challenge him. World No. 2 Rory McIlroy already has a victory under his belt this season from the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am. Xander Schauffele wants to finally getting over the hump after finishing runner up to Scheffler.Then there is Ludvig Åberg, who won the Genesis Invitational. It will also have all-access feeds with no commercial breaks, natural sound, graphics, and statistics for all 24 groups for the first two days, and be available until the broadcast coverage starts.There is more for fans to enjoy at The Players this year with the PGA Tour World Feed. This week marks the official launch of the new feed, allowing for a more customized coverage for the international players.
