Blenders Pride Four Elements, the latest expression from the house of Seagram, has been awarded the silver medal in the ‘Best Blended Indian Whisky’ category at the 2025 International Whisky Competition (IWC), one of the most prestigious events to take place in the global spirits world.
The International Whisky Competition (IWC) witnesses the assimilation of hundreds of top-ranking entries from across the globe every year. What truly sets it apart is its meticulous judging process — a strict double-blind, single-sample tasting format where each whisky is evaluated in isolation, with no indication of its brand, origin, style, or strength.
Distillation process
Crafted by Master Blender Kevin Balmorth, the latest addition to the collection is inspired by the elemental forces of nature: air, fire, water and earth, due to which the whisky is meticulously crafted with four different styles of scotch malts and blended with select Indian grain spirits.
While ‘air’ brings a light, layered freshness, ‘fire’ imparts depth through precisely toasted casks. Meanwhile, ‘water’ unifies the characters of Indian and Scottish terrains, and ‘earth’ enriches the blend with the finest quality grains and barley. Together, they form a unique flavour profile that carries a smooth interplay of mellow woody sweetness and the lush vibrancy of fresh, ripe fruits.
Alcohol by volume (ABV)
The alcohol by volume (ABV) of Blenders Pride Four Elements is 42.8 per cent, which is standard for most blended whiskies.
A 750 ml bottle of Blenders Pride Four Elements costs Rs 715 in Goa, Rs 930 in Uttar Pradesh and Rs 800 in Haryana.
Availability
The Blenders Pride Four Elements is currently only available in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Rajasthan, Assam, Tripura and Meghalaya.
