Three Indian startups were declared winners at the ASME ISHOW India 2025, a prestigious social innovation accelerator hosted by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) at T-Hub, Hyderabad. The event concluded on April 25, after two days of intensive mentorship and technical feedback for some of the country’s most promising hardware-led social enterprises. Seven ventures — Caruna Mobility, DARTML, FastSense Innovations, Kisan Rover, Neenva Innovations, Newrup Tech Solutions, and RE4BILLION.AI — showcased scalable innovations addressing critical issues in agriculture, healthcare, energy, and transportation. Following expert evaluations, three ventures were selected as winners: Chuliv (Newrup Tech Solutions Private Limited) Sep-Scan (FastSense Innovations) Solar-Powered Agricultural Robotic Bull (Kisan Rover) The winners will receive a share of $30,000 in grant funding, technical design support, and access to ASME’s global innovation network to help transform their prototypes into market-ready solutions with lasting social and environmental impact. Present at the awards ceremony were senior ASME leaders, including Executive Director and CEO Tom Costabile, who emphasized the accelerator's mission: “Through the vision and creativity of these talented entrepreneurs and the guidance of expert mentors, ASME ISHOW is transforming groundbreaking ideas into market-ready products that improve lives.” Iana Aranda, Managing Director of Sustainability at ASME, highlighted the hurdles faced by hardware innovators, adding, “We are committed to equipping social ventures with the resources needed to realize their vision for a better world.” The winning teams will now advance to an international ISHOW bootcamp, gaining deeper support in scaling operations and forming global partnerships. They also become part of ASME’s expanding ecosystem, connecting them to collaborators, funders, and technical experts worldwide. The event underscored ASME’s ongoing commitment to nurturing India’s hardware innovation landscape by bringing together engineers, investors, mentors, and policymakers to drive real-world solutions to urgent societal challenges. As ISHOW India 2025 draws to a close, attention now shifts to the winners’ next steps — scaling their innovations to create broader, lasting impact.
