A crash involving three vehicles left a lane blocked in Cambridgeshire. Emergency services were called to the incident on the A142 near Mepal on Friday morning (February 28). Cambridgeshire Police officers were called at 8am. A spokesperson for the force commented at around 10am on Friday: "The collision occurred between the Chatteris roundabout and the Block Fen roundabout in the direction of Ely. "One lane is currently blocked. Police and ambulance are at the scene." An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called just before 9.30am to a road traffic collision on the A142 near Mepal. An ambulance was sent to the scene and assessed one patient who did not require transportation to hospital."
