Unbelievable — Guardiola explains how they came back to beat Bournemouth in FA Cup clash

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola analysed their victory against Andoni Iraola's Bournemouth.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola lauded his team for their performance against Bournemouth, as he stressed how much they fought for the victory.
The Cityzens advanced to the semi-finals of the FA Cup earlier today, thanks to goals from Erling Haaland and Omar Marmoush. They had to come from behind to clinch victory, as Evanilson had initially given the Cherries the lead.

What Guardiola said
Bournemouth inflicted Manchester City’s first defeat of the season at the Vitality Stadium. With this FA Cup clash hosted on the same ground, the Spanish tactician hailed his side's effort to get the opposite result.
“It is unbelievable," Guardiola said, per the BBC. "The way we competed today compared to the way we played in the first game here [in the Premier League].
“I was not good enough to overcome that situation then. We were sloppy for many games and I was not able to let them realise what they have done today.
“For example, Brighton was a difficult game [before the international break]; we didn't play our best but we fought. This is what had to happen.”
Meanwhile, despite the victory, it is not all good news for Manchester City, who still await news on Erling Haaland’s health. The Norwegian was substituted out due to an injury during the game, and the club will hope the situation is not as bad as feared.
