US quietly alerted Iran before bombing nuclear sites: report reveals behind-the-scenes

In a dramatic turn of events, the United States reportedly informed Iran in advance about planned airstrikes targeting its key nuclear sites, aiming to avoid full-scale war. A senior Iranian political source told Amwaj.media that Washington communicated its intent to only strike Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan facilities on June 21. Iran acted swiftly, evacuating most of its enriched uranium stockpile from the sites and moving it to undisclosed locations. This precaution helped limit damage to the country’s nuclear infrastructure. While neither the US nor Iran officially confirmed the report, British Trade Secretary Jonathan Reynolds revealed that London was informed in advance. According to military sources, three US B-2 bombers dropped six Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) bombs on Fordow’s fortified underground plant. Two bombs struck each of its main entrances, while others targeted the site’s ventilation systems. Additionally, a US submarine launched 30 Tomahawk missiles at Natanz and the Isfahan nuclear facility. Isfahan, in particular, posed a greater challenge than Fordow, according to a US official cited by Fox News. “Everyone was focused on Fordow, but Isfahan was actually the hardest target,” the official stated. Both sites had previously been struck by Israeli forces in separate operations just days earlier. President Donald Trump declared the nuclear facilities “completely and totally obliterated,” and warned of stronger future attacks if Iran continued its nuclear activities. Iran, however, condemned the strikes as violations of international law and reaffirmed its right to defend national sovereignty. The strikes come amid heightened tensions between Tehran and Washington. Iran also accused the UN’s nuclear watchdog, the IAEA, of distorting facts about its nuclear program. Iranian authorities stated that they are preparing legal action as they brace for potential further escalation.
