VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, is all set to enter the Indian market with its upcoming car models, VF6 and VF7. Both the four-wheelers were earlier showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and were later spotted testing on Indian roads. Now, ahead of its grand launch, the auto-maker displayed its first two EVs at selected malls in cities like Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Ahmedabad, Vijaywada, and Lucknow, among others, as a part of its campaign. This promotion allows visitors to have a closer look at the VinFast automobiles. People can also take a look at the interior and design cues of the two all-electric SUVs ahead of their official launch. Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, commented on the roadshow, saying: “After the positive reception at the Bharat Mobility Expo, we’re excited to bring the VF 7 and VF 6 closer to Indian consumers. Showcasing them in major shopping malls provides an excellent chance for customers and EV enthusiasts to experience our electric SUVs and witness VinFast’s pioneering role in promoting sustainable mobility in India,” as quoted by Gaadiwaadi.com. Take a look: VinFast VF 6: As per Gaadiwaadi.com, the VinFast VF6 has a 59.6 kWh battery pack that generates 174 hp and 250 Nm in Eco mode and approximately 201 hp and 310 Nm in Plus mode. Furthermore, the company claims that it has a mileage of 480 km in Eco and 460 km in Plus mode. It goes from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.89 seconds. Talking about its appearance, it comes with a curved look at the front, with brow-like LED DRLs. This LED DRL strip descends as it approaches the ‘V’ logo in the center. The honeycomb pattern grille features broad air dams and blacked-out claddings, giving it a rough appearance. The rear end, on the other hand, features an LED strip taillight similar to the design featured on the front fascia. In addition, the sloping roofline contributes to the curving attractiveness. VinFast VF 7: In comparison with the VF 6, the VinFast VF 7 is powered by a 75.3 kWh battery pack, delivering 201 hp and 309 Nm in Eco mode and 348 hp and 499 Nm in Plus mode. As for the look, it appears similar to the VF 6 model. However, it has a unique LED DRL design that is “V” shaped at the middle of the bonnet. The front fascia also has a split LED headlamp arrangement, a 360-degree camera, and front parking sensors. Details related to its pricing are yet to be announced by the company.
