As Bosso prepare for an explosive Castle Lager Premier Soccer League showdown against ZPC Kariba at Nyamhunga Stadium this Saturday, the combative midfield engine is urging his teammates to keep their heads in the game. “We just have to focus and go and play well and try to get three points,” Mushore told Zimpapers Sports Hub, oozing calm confidence. With just 11 games in, many already believe Mushore is bossing the midfield like no other in the league. His commanding presence, gritty tackles, and non-stop runs have been pivotal — even if it’s landed him a suspension already. By his side during the interview was his older brother Mackinnon Mushore, who echoed the belief running deep in the family. “We’re not afraid of ZPC Kariba’s defence,” said Mackinnon. “Highlanders can score against anyone. It’s all about hard work.” Growing up in Budiriro, Harare, the Mushore brothers dreamed of donning the famous black and white jersey. “Highlanders is a dream team. Everyone knows Bosso. Everyone wants to play for them,” Mackinnon added. Mason has been the missing puzzle piece in the Highlanders midfield. With Melikhaya Ncube doing the dirty work and Gillian Nyathi still warming up, Mushore has stepped in with both flair and fire.
