While most people choose regular home decor, a man from Kerala did something different—he used old car and bike parts to decorate his house. A true bike lover, he turned old vehicle parts into creative decor pieces. What began as a small dream has now become an internet sensation, after a video about his home went viral on Instagram, getting nearly 100 million views. The clip was shared by user Priyam Saraswat.
Priyam shared his visit to this one-of-a-kind home in Kerala, calling it the “House of a Riding Enthusiast.” The video starts with him walking through the gate, where he sees a red Yamaha fuel tank turned into a letterbox. It’s just the beginning of what’s inside—a house full of creative items made from old parts of popular Indian vehicles.
The man who owns the house is a self-taught mechanic and used to work as a JCB operator. In the video, he gives a tour of his home, which looks like a mix of a workshop and a museum filled with memories. He’s turned an old Ambassador car into an outdoor seating area, and even used tyres as window frames. Above the main door, there’s a light made from the handle of a Bajaj Chetak scooter.
Inside, the living room has a sofa made from a Chetak scooter, with its headlight still glowing, and a centre table made from a bike engine. There’s also a wall clock built from a Maruti Swift’s pressure plate and a chandelier made from a cycle rim. The house isn’t just creative—it’s a heartfelt tribute to his love for automobiles.

But the creativity doesn’t end there. In the open kitchen, there’s a round dining table made entirely from spanners, nuts, and bolts—something that amazed Priyam. The wash basin has a petrol pump nozzle as a tap, and a Mahindra steering wheel is cleverly used to hang towels. There’s even a lamp made from a Swift car’s shock absorber. The biggest surprise? A part of a Volkswagen car turned into a working fridge.
Social media users were quick to react to the amazing auto-themed home. A person said, “Omg this is just the coolest house I’ve come across in 2025. Loved it.” Another individual noted, “Gazab.”
The man behind all this didn’t grow up with access to bikes or cars, but he taught himself how to fix them. Today, he runs his bike garage.
